Traveling with Pets & Greenville's Pet Friendly Hotels

Here are the few helpful hints for you when you are traveling with your pet. If your a parent taking your child back to school or just visiting East Carolina University or Pitt Community College there are quite a few hotels willing to accomidate your pet.
  • Make sure to contact your Veterinarian before you travel with your pet.
  • Maintain normal feeding and walking schedules as much as possible.
  • Remember to always bring your pet's favorite foods, toys, medications, grooming supplies, dishes, leash, and collar with ID tags.
  • If you are concerned about barking, bring a portable kennel with you. It provides a safe and familiar environment for your pet.
  • Know your pet's limitations and never leave your pet unattended in the room.
  • Always clean up after your pet.

 River Park North is a natural area encompassing 324 acres of land and water with 1.2 miles fronting the Tar River. The Park includes over 250 acres of rich bottomland forest, over 20 acres of open grassland, and four lakes covering 48 acres. This is a great place to go to walk and play with you dog. It also has year-round fishing, hiking trails, picnicking and bird watching. Pedal boating offered seasonally.
