About Us

Nestled in the woods of Greenville, North Carolina sits our small cookie cutter factory. Our cookie cutters can be bought from this site, a few select others online, and various stores around the United States. The other items on this website: costumes, treat jars, tank tops, harnesses, all came at the request of our customers. We don't currently produce these items, we are just resellers. We do however produce all the cookie cutters seen on this site, you can identify it was made by us from the stamped indention of our logo.

BowWows & Meows all started from a mother's love of sharing her baking and the need for custom cookie cutters, and father's mechanical intuition and resourcefulness. We started making cookie cutters for our use to make cookies and other treats for friends as well as pets, while employed at veterinary offices. The demand for the dog cookie cutters grew and we started making them for our friends and family. Somewhere in the mix we started selling our cookie cutters wholesale to local boutiques and bakeries in North Carolina.

From 2001 to 2006 we sold our cookie cutters and other items on third party websites such as eBay and Amazon, before the launch of our website in 2006. Unfortunately there is no retail location to browse all of our items, yet! Any addresses, phone numbers or other contact information listed on this site are for our factory, warehouse, or shipping department.

Our logo changes constantly and hopefully not so much as it to be confusing. You may have seen our other themes displayed on our website or on the background of your cookie cutter packaging.

In edition to BowWows & Meows, we are the loving Pawrents® of a Lab-Mix and Beagle, both Rescues, and a Bengal Cat. Shelly and Nala are pictured above in the logo.
